A Life can’t wait, right? That’s why Sunsilk wants ladies like us from all over the world to share our own ‘life can’t wait’ stories – which they have called ‘revelation’. Sunsilk are holding events in different countries, where us girls can share every show-stopping, life-changing, life-can’t-wait moment. A shortlist will then be professionally coiffured, styled and filmed, exactly like those girls on the WORLD TALES page (cue fantastic screams!). From this shortlist you’ll vote for the most fabulous stories – and one lucky girl from each country will beat a path straight to stardom. How each girl is made into a star will depend on the country itself. You can find out more on the REVELATION PAGE.
Q What happens after revelation?
A Revelation is just the next part of the story. Every year there will be more events happening. Keep your eyes open to see what’s coming next…
Q How can I get involved?
A OK, here’s the deal. Each country will be going online with their ‘revelation’ event at different times so keep your eyes peeled. The best way to get involved is to go along and share your story at your local event or vote on the girls who go. To see when your country is holding their event, go to the EVENTS SECTION. If your event information isn’t available, don’t forget to keep checking as each country will be putting information up at slightly different times.
Q What do I get if I’m a revelation winner?
A How about a little taste of stardom? How you get that stardom depends on your country. Some countries will produce an ad, others an episode of a soap, still others may write a song about the winning girl, or maybe the lucky girl will even star in her own short film. Of course every single winner will be professionally Sunsilk-styled, coiffured and experience total superstardom.
Q Oh no! My country doesn’t seem to be mentioned.
A First you should check you are on the right site for your country – look at the ‘change country/language’ selector at the bottom of the page. If it’s still not showing your country then it’s because, unfortunately, not every country will be running an actual event. If there is no event on near you don’t despair! The fabulous thing is you can still see what’s going on and have a say in which girl wins by voting when the voting is live. Just make sure you register for the country you’re following (use the ‘join in’ tab).
Q So where are revelation events going on, anyway?
A Revelation is running all over the world – yes, it’s very cosmopolitan. We could give you a big long list of countries here, but it’s much easier to see exactly where on the ‘change country/language’ selector on the bottom of every page. Just select another site. Don’t forget that to vote for girls in another country, you first have to register yourself for that country. Now go global, girls!
Q Can I vote for the winner?
A Yes. Anyone who is registered on www.lifecantwait.com can vote for the girl they think should win. Make sure you’re registered for the country you’re viewing the stories on (use the ‘join in’ tab). If those girls are in a different country then you’ll need to register for that country first.
Q When will the winners be posted?
AWinners will be shown at different times, depending on when your particular event was run. You should contact your local market directly to find it out if you’re not sure – look up your contact in the EVENTS SECTION.
Q So what has revelation got to do with hair?
A We girls love our hair – we brush it, style it, and flick it (lots). It’s a fact that when we feel good about our hair we can make the most of our day, week, month, and make life happen. Confident women grab every opportunity and have those ‘grab life by the ponytail’ moments – which Sunsilk has called a life can’t wait story. These are the stuff of legend, of course. They believe it’s every girl’s right to live their own life can’t wait story as much as they can.
Q Exactly how do I vote then?
A You’ll have to see if voting is on for your country as it’s on at different times depending where you’re from. If it is, then vote through the ‘your stories’ section of this site. Click on the girl’s story you’d like to vote for, watch her life can’t wait story and vote. Done!
Q I want to vote for someone more than once. Why can’t I?
A Come on, you’ve got to play fair…and to keep it that way you won’t be able to vote for any girl more than once. But hey, look on the bright side, you can still vote for anyone else you’d like to as long as you haven’t voted for them before.
Q Where did you get these life can’t wait stories from?
A It depends what section you’re looking at. In WORLD TALES the girls were searched out and chosen to share real inspiring stories from all over the world. If you’re looking at ‘your stories’, the stories were shortlisted by a panel of judges, chosen from all the girls that went to your local event. One thing’s for sure, all the stories are really inspiring for us girls everywhere.
Q I can’t seem to vote? Why is that?
A You need to be registered (use the ‘join in’ tab), so make sure that you’re either logged in or have registered. If you still can’t vote there may be some sort of problem with the server, so you should try again later.
